By train:
Bad Schandau train station is well connected to the German Rail network, with direct connections to Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, and Budapest, among other destinations. Albergo Toscana can be easily reached from the station by ferry, bus, taxi, or on foot in approximately 30 minutes. The ferry departs for the Bad Schandau side of the Elbe River approximately every 30 minutes, coinciding with the arrival of the S-Bahn (suburban train). Alternatively, you can take a VVO bus to the Elbe quay or bus line 252 directly to the passenger elevator. If you are arriving by public transport, we will gladly send you your guest cards in advance, allowing you to use buses, trains, and ferries within the VVO area free of charge.
By bicycle or on foot:
The Albergo Toscana is located directly on the Elbe Cycle Path and not far from the Painters' Way — ideal for cyclists and hikers. A lockable bicycle room with a service bench is available for your bicycles.
By plane:
Bad Schandau is easily accessible from Dresden and Prague international airports by car or train. Prague airport, in particular, offers numerous direct international connections.
The park:
Two large guest parking areas are available directly at Albergo Toscana. Parking costs €5 per day per vehicle. Additional public parking is available approximately a 10-minute walk away.
